Good Morning all
I have a small issue where i create a task within a Ticket. In the ticket threat it appears under the same department as the ticket but once i go to the tasks view it appears in another departement. I know it is in the correct department because i can move it between different departments and the label changes only when i look at the task in the ticket window but if i look within task it always appears the same department.

This is how it appears within the ticket threat tab.

and this is how it appeats inside the taks menu

please help on how to correct this.

When creating a Task you can select a different Department. I assume whomever created the Tasks created it under a different Department. To fix this you can simply select the same Department when creating the Task.

    Cheers.

KevinTheJedi Hi, i actually created the task from part within the ticket and when you look at the taks within the ticket it actually says the correct department but when i got to the task tab itself it says another department i tried to move them and no matter what department i put it in; it is always the same department.

If i open the task i see the correct department:

But if i look at the list they appear in the wrong deparment even though they are in the right department.

ntozier Sorry/ first time i post.
here is the information that was needed

I've been trying to reproduce this issue for the past hour and can't seem to replicate this. Do you see any related errors in the logs (Server logs, Apache error logs, PHP error logs, MySQL/MariaDB error logs, osTicket system logs, Browser Console logs)?

      Cheers.

Not really. You can google "how to obtain apache error logs on ubuntu" (or whatever OS your server runs), "how to obtain php error logs on ubuntu" (or whatever OS your server runs), and so on.

        Cheers.
