You cannot rollback or downgrade unless you have a backup of the database and code files from before the upgrade.

During migration how to turn off or disable auto-cron mail fetching via emails and then how to enable the same after migration complete.
Enable/Disable Email Fetching:
Admin Panel > Emails > Settings > Incoming Emails > Email Fetching
