Debug log - how do I activate it?

Hi everyone,
I am facing a slight problem with OSTicket.
I had performance issues with a database-host, so I decided to more the database.

I stopped PHP and apache, dumped the database and imported it on a new host.
I reconfigured ost-config.php to use the new database server.

But I am only getting "Fatal Error: Contact system administrator." when I then try to visit OSTicket via web.
The credentials is correct, and I can reach the database from the OSTicket server.
There is no error-logs in the apache or php-logs.

So, how can I debug this?

Check MySQL/MariaDB error logs? There should be an error somewhere. If not, you can grep for "Contact system administrator" in the code to find where we throw this error. I believe the system cannot connect to the database and therefore throwing the error. You can see this here:
