Merge Tickets osTicket 1.7

I would like to find a MOD that allows you to merge multiple tickets into one.

I found one for version 1.6 RC5 ((http://www.openscriptsolution.com/ticket-system/osticket/adding-merge-ticket-feature-into-osticket-v1-6-rc5)), I implemented it, but it doesn't seem to do anything (the new tab doesn't even show up).

Does anyone know how to make this function work for osTicket 1.7?

This Merge Ticket Feature will work in osTicket 1.7 also ?

The link that I posted above is for 1.7.
