Cannot delete a ticket even if I logged in as Super User

I'm logging in as Super User. There is one ticket that I cannot delete. It always error out. I was able to delete other tickets though.

Please help as it always says it's overdue, but I cannot close it because I can only see Open and In Progress on the status drop down menu. And when I try to delete it, it errors out like that.

"Super user"? osTicket has no concept of "Super User". It does have Admin accounts, but that does not mean that the account has some master access to do things. An Admin account is only allowed to go into the Admin panel, and administrate the site.

In order to delete tickets your Agent account has to have the Delete permission.

Go to Admin panel -> Agents -> Roles.

Click on your role.

ensure the Delete permission is checked.

I think they both means the same, just different name. And in the page, it says "Super", so I thought in this app it means Super.

Anyways, I'm logged in as Admin, I have admin rights. Supposedly, it can delete any tickets right? But there's one ticket I can't delete, it always errors out as shown on the screenshot. Is there other reason aside from "no permission" cause I think an Admin account should have all access. The error is pretty vague, it only says it cannot delete the ticket. I also pop up the chrome's developers tool and can't find any error response, so I'm prettry stuck here. Hopefully you could help.

No. Permissions are handled by assigned Roles.

It does not mean that. You will have to check the Role like I already mentioned to ensure that it has delete.

Found it. I need to add new access per Department on the user to be able to delete. Path:
Admin Panel > Agents > Access

Then select the type of access. The type of access can be found on the path mentioned by ntozier:
Admin Panel > Agents > Role
