DNS record

I want to add a dns record for my agent panel http://IP_Address/osticket/scp to my domain : as ostickt/mydomain.com
I've been told to add an htaccess file to my root that will direct the user to the record
I'm using OSticket on windows is there any documentation I can follow or someone can help me here

You would want to talk to whoever governs your domains DNS... and either add a pointer for it at the host record file or your companies DNS servers.

my problem is where to add the pointer in the osticket root in windows
The DNS is running by me and it's locally but the redirect url for the agent panel is the problem

hadilyounis That's something you would add in your DNS server role.

hadilyounis There's a ton of guides around the internet, but the short and sweet guide is you add a PTR record in your DNS zone that points to your helpdesk. You can manage DNS in Windows Server by using Server Manager.
