We have been using OSTicket with IMAP and a Gmail account on Apps for Business with no problem for about 3 years, until this morning at 9 AM CST. The fact that it cut out exactly on the hour makes me think there was a change at google. Our connection is now blocked. Yes, I have taken all the recommended steps within Gmail configuration such as allowing less secure apps, clearing security alerts, the "recaptcha" tool, etc.
Again, this is not a new configuration. There were no changes, and it suddenly stopped working at 9 AM CST. My goal here is to see if anyone else has experienced this. It seems to me like a change on google's end.
Google support has been ineffective. After taking me through all troubleshooting, I am waiting on a response from the higher-ups. My fear is that they will say OSTicket is not secure and not supported.
Finally, we are not using a security certificate on the site / HTTPS connection. If anyone can confirm that may help, I'll buy one, but I just don't understand why we have gone from working to broken with no changes at all.
