I have just installed OSticket on Windows Server 2008 R2. It works for the most part. This server does not have an email server on it so the only SMTP I can use is what comes with IIS7.5. I have configured IIS to use gmail as my SMTP server using my gmail address and there SMTP port. When I create a ticket I get message that an email was sent but the receiver does not get an email.

I have spent 1 week looking for solution with no results. All seems to be configured correctly. If anyone has a solution please let me know. :

I had problems with email first too, but since today I got it working (using Gmail to send mail)

Can you post all your email settings?

So you did something like this?

Have you confirmed that its actually working outside of osTicket? I mostly ask because this sounds like a server configuration issue not an osTicket issue. Also PHP has mail functions built in that you may be able to utilize see http://php.net/smtp(http://php.net/smtp)
