Hi,
(first time here)

I have successfully integrated WP Elementor form to post to osTicket using API json format.
Although limited, no attached files, it does what I need.

I do have one question though:
Is it possible to have the user fields updated with altered name or phone number for the same email address?

It's not often the name changes, but phone number does and it would be nice if there were some way of telling osTicket that updates are accepted. [maybe there is 🙂 ]

Thank you for a lovely application -

Regards
Svend

I'm not aware of a way for the ticket open API to do this.
But you could put the information in the ticket and have your Agents update it.

Yeah, I figured as much, it will just add work to unskilled operators.

Anyway, then it is as I expected, as soon as user data has been entered it is static from the user point of view.
So I guess I'll stop using user fields, and just always put the information in the ticket text.

    Thanks
    Svend

    Sounds like a plan.

IF you pull the users from like AD/LDAP you can update them that way (either by importing the users or using a 3rd party user sync plugin).

Hi, I wonder if you let me know how you integrated WP Elementor form to post to osTicket?

    Ian

    Sure, no problem,

be aware with every elementor update you have to patch again 🙂

I have put the files and an elementor template in a zip - but - can't attach 😉
