Hello,
I have been participating in the topic here but I believe that after reading the topic in more detail my issue is unique and different from what is being reported. I thought it best to start a different thread to allow for both of these unique yet similar issues to be looked at independently.
My Info Screen:
I am currently logging into osTicket with LDAP credentials and they are working just fine. I am also able to create new agents and having the LDAP/AD drop down dialog work on that screen without issue (see below)
Now where everything stops working for me and the reason for this posting is that when I go to open a new ticket and start trying to type in a new name I get NOTHING. No drop down nothing (see below).
Now at first I though that this might be an AJAX or Jquery issue of some sort. So I tried to then enter a user I knew was in the system (me) - Please see below.
Per my understanding the 'remote' means that OST recognizes that my UID is in fact being pulled from AD and being authenticated from AD. Now there is another Rich in my organization. Please note that he DOES NOT show up in my potential options. At the suggestion of @KevinTheJedi I opened the DEV tools in Chrome to take a look at the search strings etc. Those results are below:
I am at a total loss as to how and what I can do to correct this issue. I have also gone through the links below:
Items I have looked at:
https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket/pull/3456
Looks like this has already been implemented
https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket/issues/4811
I do not have error code 500
I am using LDAP/AD
Only item in my config which is not green is cgi.fix_pathinfo - it is enabled in my php.ini
https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket/pull/3441
Tried adding this code (no go)
https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket/issues/4198
Code does not seem to be there any longer to remove
https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket/pull/3456
Same comment as above
https://forum.osticket.com/d/93560-ldap-user-lookup-for-new-tickets/4
I did have BOTH DNS & AD/DC in here
Removed DNS and yielded the same result
My result was the same as I posted earlier
https://forum.osticket.com/d/91078-lookup-a-user-using-name-doesnt-work
Not the same issue but as mentioned above line "87" is no longer there
Any other suggestions which can be brought forward would be welcomed. Also if any other information is needed from me please ask and so long as it is not overly confidential it will be provided.
