[Resolved] Invalid or unknown mail folder! >> Cannot Create folder INBOX

Hi'all!

I´m trying to setup my osTicket through IMAP, but when I try to enable, I´ve got this error:

Invalid or unknown mail folder! >> Cannot Create folder INBOX

I´ve telnet IMAP server without problem, and I can see the LIST folders:

this is my installation:

centos-release-7-7.1908.0.el7.centos.x86_64
PHP Version: 7.2.25
Mysql Version: 14.14 Distrib 5.6.46
Apache version: 2.4.6 (CentOS)

Could anybody help me?? I´m totally lost at this point

Admin panel -> Emails -> Emails -> your email

My IMAP settings:

Port is right (for my server)

EDIT: i've noticed that in Folder I have written "\INBOX" but no matter, I've tried without "\", blank, "INBOX"..........

remove \INBOX and save.
see if it works.

ntozier didn´t work.....No matter what I write.....There´s only one thing: When I leave that BLANK, error message "Invalid or unknown mail folder! >> Cannot Create folder INBOX appears under "Fetched Emails" action.

Under "Fetched Emails", I've tried all options, same error

This field is blank in my instances and works find for retrieving email from INBOX.
So what does the error change to when you delete the field and save?
Is your INBOX not actually called INBOX on the mail server?

ntozier as you can see on my first post screeshot, server list correctly the folders, and we can see it's named "Inbox"

When I leave field BLANK, error message appears next to "Fetch emails" Actions, but that's all. I've tried 3 options but nothing new.

Note that the error moves down to "Fetched Emails", does folder osTicket exist?

ntozier I've created but in Outlook......Anyway, I've got the same error if I choose "Delete emails"

If you are using the inbox then leave the mail folder field blank as it defaults to inbox.

Does creating it in Outlook create it on the server (ie the telnet screen shot that you provided does not show that folder)

ntozier I don't think that's the problem. When I choose DELETE EMAILS still the same.

The problem is osTicket cannot read/access/detect/whatever to user's INBOX, and I dunno why.

Is there any log or anything to look into for this?

I can not replicate the same in-house. We have the same code base in our hosted platform with thousands of customers. Every customer has their own email configurations (with many of them being Outlook) and all work on the hosted platform as well so I’m not too sure what your particular issue is. Maybe a weird Outlook setup?

Can you try using the email address as the Username to see if it’s actually signing in to the configured email and not a different account?

Ok, I don´t know why, but this morning I´ve tried with Mail Folder BLANK, and Fetched Emails: Do nothing, and worked!!I was able to read all tickets from all emails created.
