1.10.1 Migration from Workstation Server to Synology NAS Server

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to migrate our existing OSTicket (V.1.10.1) Workstation Server to a New Synology NAS OSTicket (V.1.10.1) Server. What would be the steps for this?

I have tried restoring the database from old server to the new synology database and it does not show the existing tickets, users, knowledge base, etc.

I kept the database name, user and passwords the same as before. Am I missing something?

did you make the table prefix the same?

Yes, I used the same table prefix.

It looks like only some of the data has been restored in the database, but not all of it. The OSTicket web interface does not show any of the data that was shown in the database.

Sounds like you have discovered your issue then. The export/import appears to be the stumbling block.

Do you have any tips on backing up and performing a restore of the Database? Or does OSTicket have a built in feature for importing tickets and data from another OSTicket using the web GUI?

Do I need to restore the entire OSTicket Database or are there only certain parts that are needed?

I've never played with Synology NAS's so I can't really give you much in the way of tips.
I use MySQL WorkBench to back up and restore databases.

Yes you would need to restore the entire database.
