Sending email to OsTicket not converting it tickets or email are not fetched by OsTicket. Please find the attached screenshot. I am able to send test mail from OsTicket diagnostic option.

Windows Server 2012 64Bit
IIS 8.0

Please provide any video tutorial to setup auto fetching with task scheduler on Windows Server. Your documentation information is not enough and cumbersome.

Please find the attached screenshot of my email setting and pop configuration.

Dear Ntozier,

I have read that doc and I am not able and I am not able to understand it. Very fewer details are available in the doc for Windows Server IIS.

Regarding enabling Email Fetching I have already enabled it, I have attached two screenshots in this why I asked this question, I think you didn't check my attachment.

Now after I have also ticketed the open "Fetch on auto-cron" I am able to receive the tickets when I am logged in the agent panel. However, when I am not logged in to the agent panel I receive no tickets.

I want to setup that scheduler to fetch the emails automatically even when I am not logged in to the agent panel, and I just want a proper and detailed document of doing the same.

Naushad Khan

The Task Scheduler documentation is in the link I provided.

Dear Ntozier,

Thanks, I didn't notice that. This issue is been resolved after creating a *.bat file
For windows users in “Scheduled Tasks” add "c:\php\bin\php.exe c:\website\osticket\api\cron.php"
Scheduled it to run every 5 mins.
Now tickets are fetched even when I am not logged in to the agent panel.

Make sure that you go back into the osticket UI and disable Fetch on auto-cron.

Very welcome. I'll mark this thread as resolved and close it. Please feel free to start another thread if you have another question, comment, etc.

ntozier changed the title to [resolved] Tickets not fetching with Gmail.
