We have osTicket Version v1.10 (901e5ea)
I would like to upgrade to the latest version
I have read https://docs.osticket.com/en/latest/Getting%20Started/Upgrade%20and%20Migration.html in detail.
Before I go ahead, is there anything I should check?
In scripts folder, there are 4 files:
api_ticket_create.php
rcron.php
automail.php
automail.pl
Any other hints you can give me? If I follow the upgrade instructions exactly, will that work?
In particular, I am wondering whether the existing database with its structure will need to be changed at all or whether it would work immediately.
And when we upload the files required, while they will overwrite old files, will there be some that need to be deleted that may hang on the old version?
Rather than overwriting, should we (can we) instead, after backup, delete the entire contents of the httpdocs root folder and then put in the new files, keeping only the important ost-config.php as per the migration URL?
Should I upgrade to version 1.12.5 or 1.14.1?
