Accidentally deleted .htaccess

As stated in the subject, I have accidentally deleted my .htaccess file that was in the osTicket subfolder of the website. Now access to osTicket is denied.
How can I revert it back or reinstall a new .htaccess file?

Just realized that the subfolders (e.g.: scp) don't have a .htaccess file, either. Might have happened during a file copy operation. Can this be reverted somehow, without having to reinstall the whole osTicket?

You can either:

Restore from back up.
download the distribution archive, copy the file that you need and put it in the proper place.

Thanks for the reply, but my backup is corrupted (no archive recognized in the backup file. Only the database is still valid).
Anyway, the distribution for the same version as mine doesn't seem to contain any .htaccess file, so that's not a viable method.
May I borrow .htaccess files from someone else's setup? As I understand it, those files are generated during the first install, based on the actual configuration (i.e. paths and the like), so I'd need to rework a few lines in there, in that case.
Do you think it would work?

If you still have a good database backed up, All you have to do is download a fresh copy of the osTicket installation file from osticket.com/download and uploaded it to your web server. Make sure to copy your ost-config.php and uploaded it inside /include folder, it's like going through upgrade process.

francescoca The only .htaccess files in my installation are in api/, apps/, include/, pages/ and scp/apps/ - and they're all exactly the same as the ones in the download (no modifications whatsoever). It sounds like there's an issue with the httpd config files somewhere if access is denied, or perhaps an over-ruling deny all somewhere??

I run IIS personally, and done use .htaccess files.
