I'm trying to create a new few, but it makes create data and SLA due date required. But not all tickets have an SLA due date, so some tickets are never visible.
And also in the advanced search, it makes those fields required.

Have you tried clearing all cache in the browser, restarted the server and restarted PHP-FPM (if your running it)?

KevinTheJedi Yes, we have this issue for a while now. I was hoping the upgrade from 1.11 to 1.12 would fix the issue. But sadly this is not the case.
Well I do not have this issue and I don't know of anyone else with this issue currently. Have you tried a new install of v1.12.3 to test this case?
KevinTheJedi No i haven tried a new install yet.. on github i see someone with the same issue. https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket/issues/4702. He also mentioned not having turned on SLA due date and Creation Date. I do note he's using the exact same version of PHP.
Might be the PHP version or something with default sorting ?
As you can see in the Issue Report no one was able to replicate the issue. I couldn't imagine it being the PHP version as I use PHP 5.6 on one of my test servers and everything works correctly. You can try upgrading PHP though to see if it helps.
