just to clarify before I do anything stupid. To upgrade i just upload the files and then not run the upgrader?

mattso Hi Matto, the same thing happened to me I did the usual thing but I try to create an installation from new instead of updating, Could you solve why the upgrade does not start?
I would back up your DB and site files first, but yes. The upgrader will run if it needs to.
