[resolved] Dept signature checked by default

MySQL Version 5.5.60
PHP Version 7.3.5

OS: CentOS 7.3

I've just installed OSTicket and was wondering if it's possible to have the Dept signature checked by default.
I do not want to leave the possibility of my users forgetting to check the signature option.

Unfortunately I don't think that there is using the UI, at least not for everyone. Individual Agents can change which one is the default by going to Profile -> Preferences: and setting Default Signature.

If you want to do it for everyone you could modify your code. While this thread is years old I don't think that section of code [which controls this] has not changed totally so by locating where the check box is on that page you should be able to over ride it with a minor source edit.

Suggestion: It would take a bit of burdon off you if we had an option to close resolved tickets ourselves ?

I like the suggestion, but I don't know that the devs would take time to implement a plugin to allow users to that that in this forum software. I'll look into it though.
