hello yes, was able to talk to my hosting, it would seem that the function is somehow insecure and "outdated". the admin has extended and re enable ini_set() in my case but have told me it may be possible that in the future the function will be removed or may be totally disabled.
is there and alternative? or will OSticket update the use of such functions? in future version? I am already in 1.12
I have tried all solution on google but as also pointed out in one of my search an effective and efficient block will ultimately block the function and the only way was to ask the hosting company.
