Good Day Team,
I am back for a little more help. Thanks to you guys I have osticket up and running on our synology nas server. For users to access osticket while on our network this is the url they use "http://10.000.000.0/osticket/upload/" I would like to change the url to redirct to http://OurITrequest. I did not want to have the ip address as part of the url just a dns name. Not sure what the right step, should I setup a dns server on the nas or have our web hosting create a CNAME?

Or should I add http://OurITrequest to our web server? thanks for any help or clues in advance.
You would need to setup outitrequest to point to an IP address in DNS.
And you would go into osTicket and change the help desk url to the new address.
