I've searched around a bit and couldn't find a good answer. Assuming you have a fresh new install, no users setup or tickets created. You have Active Directory login configured and working for Agents and Users. You have users emails in Active Directory. So, we have a user with no user account in osTicket, but they do have an AD account (with associated email).
Then lets say a user submits a ticket via email, because they like doing it that way. Then the next day they decide to login to the web portal (with their AD credentials) to submit a ticket. When they login on day 2, will they see their ticket they initially submitted via email?
I didn't know if during that initial ticket creation (from the incoming email) any lookup of the email address is done in AD.
