Upgrading?

Hi,our organization is looking to upgrade our osTicket software from 1.9.9.1 to a stable version with reporting capabilities. I have to provide to our Executive Director the number of tickets opened per department by Help Topic, the number of tickets not resolved at the end of the month, and the number of individual staff members from our libraries who have opened a ticket within the month's time. In 1.9.9.1 I can do that, will I be able to do the same in an upgraded version? I have looked through the documentation for upgrading and have not found anything that refers to reporting in the newer version. Any help you can provide will be helpful.

osTicket has never really had much in the way of reporting. The Dashboard is all it has. There were some minor tweaks to the Dashboard in 1.10 and 1.11 [mostly to make it work with the new database formatting]. I do not believe that it lost any functionality in those intervening versions.

You best bet is to clone your live site and upgrade the clone. Make sure that it suits your needs and the upgrade goes smoothly.

Where I work we use paid Reporting Plugin from software-mods for our reporting needs.
