So, just exported a report for a customer from Spiceworks, and suddenly thought, does OSTicket have reporting, something i've never checked to be honest.
We are hoping to move over to OSTicket soon but this is quite a vital feature for us and i can't see how you do it on OSTicket anywhere.
Am i just not seeing it or does it not exist?

The closest i can find to the sort of reports we do would be exporting the ticket info from the Organisations tab.
Problem is though the file it exports is useless.
Subject says "cdata_subject" for all tickets
From says "user_name" for all tickets
From Email says "user_emails_address" for all tickets

There is a paid plugin called osTicket Reports from software-mods we use it where I work. The author is also a member here at the forums (@scottro). I recommend it.

Any idea why the inbuilt export function isn't working properly?

osTicket Version v1.11 (d4e240b) — Up to date
Web Server Software Microsoft-IIS/8.5
MySQL Version 10.3.12
PHP Version 7.2.7

Not sure what you mean.
The export feature seems to work fine for me.

I cannot replicated that output.

Does it happen to anyone else on here?
Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

Would any devs be able to comment on this.
Without this i can't really put this into a production enviroment as some of our clients ask for ticket reports.
Thanks

This still doesn't work on v1.12

I've also migrated to 1.12 and cannot replicate your issue on that version either.

If you are looking for reporting I would recommend the paid plugin Reports Plugin from software-mods. We've used it for all out reporting needs for a few years now.

Thanks! I've had it too in v.1.12.5 and was looking for any solution.
