Spell Checker missing?

After my recent build of a new VM and install of the 1.11 update, I am not seeing any spell checking being done - tried in FAQ edit and ticket reply.

I believe there was a working spell checker in the old version.

Searching the forum I get only one relevant hit from 2009 about a spell checker button being added.

Have I failed to install something when building the CentOS 7.3 VM?

I do not recall osTicket ever having a spellchecked. It had been talked about but then web browsers started including them so it never went anywhere.

I see - so it is a browser issue.

Indeed I have changed my spell language from US English to UK a few days ago.

Found it. Installing a new language and taking away the old leaves the spell checker turned off for the old one.

Just a followup.

The browser based spell checker is working fine.

On this page now, if the spell checker comes up with a red line, a right click gives you the browser options for alternative spellings and also the option to 'Add to dictionary'.

When adding an FAQ (and presumably on other input) a right click actually throws up an osTicket generated menu instead.

which contains good things but not an 'Add' option - rather a nuisance.

Correction:

Tried again now and it seems that I was wrong.

If you right click on the word in error (with red underline) then you do get the regular spell checker options including the option for saving the word.

Only if you click elsewhere do you get the options I showed above.

I'm sure I tried several times but I must have been not accurate enough with my positioning.
