Is it safe to change to MariaDB 10.3 on an existing installation that is running on a cPanel server? I know MariaDB is supported, just wasn't sure if I should expect any problems changing an in-place system. Thanks!

I don't see any reason why it would cause problems... but make sure that you back up your Database first.
