Weird bugs on linux stack

I have my current system running on php 5.6 and IIS 7.x

Im moving it to a debian system running mainline nginx and php 7.1 (7.2 will be tested to work shortly)

I couldnt upgrade and got a weird iframe like issue, where its loading the site twice, so I upgraded everything via my IIS system, now when i go to my testing install on the debian system i get the below weird iframe issue when clicking tasks. Also my canned responses dont autofill when I click on them. I'm leaving for the day, and havent found any error logs yet. Im putting this here hoping someone knows whats up by the time i get to the office tomorrow.
Also to note, im using the same database, and making sure both my linux osticket install and windows osticket install are the exact same version

osTicket does not support nginx so that could very well be your issue.

You can get nginx to work but it will not work out of the box. There area number of nginx configuration changes that you will need to research on github to make it work.

Really now? That seems oddly silly. its just a webserver. What do you support officially then?
