Hi all,

I upgraded our osTicket installation to 1.11 last night, and today have noticed that new emails being sent by our users are not creating new tickets. The cron job is still running and the emails are being picked up from the mailbox, but nothing is appearing in the Open Tickets queue. I'm running Apache with PHP 7.2, and this was all working beforehand (yes, even with PHP 7.2 on osTicket 1.10.4 ? )

I notice that if I search for the ticket by name it appears in the results, but clicking returns an error about an invalid ID

The information logs in osTicket don't mention anything since the upgrade, and I can't see anything in the Apache logs to idicate an error. Oddly enough, replies to existing tickets are still working.

Before I start reverting things back to 1.10.4, does anyone have any idea what I could look for to sort this?

Thanks

Our users were starting to get a bit tetchy about lack of replies to their tickets, so I've had to revert back to 1.10 ? If anybody has any ideas I can try to look for sources of this error, I can always clone the server and upgrade the clone.

Thanks

I upgraded to 1.11 with php 7.2 and cannot replicate the email to ticket problem that you are having. I've let the devs know that this is now being reported by more than one person.

I just reattempted the upgrade, but this time performing a 'clean' install as suggested in https://forum.osticket.com/d/93470-solved-tickets-created-from-email-have-status-0 but unfortunately encountered exactly the same error. (I say 'clean' as I can't delete my database, so it's only every file, including plugins, that I removed).

I notice the system logs have a couple of (task pending) entries though, shown below. Should I worry about these??

Thanks.

@RBGE

You should only worry about pending upgrade tasks if it leaves off on one ie. doesn't continue after the task. I see it went through other migrations and cleanup so it looks to be okay.

Cheers.

I'm having the same problem. The ticket is created in the database from e-mail but with status 0.
I checked all settings but didn't see any possible misconfiguration.
A clean installation is not an option. I did a restore to my previous configuration.

I hope there will be a sollution verry soon.
