Not Able To Create Agent Password

When creating an agent, it will allow all fields to be edited except the password. If I go ahead and create the agent with no password it does not send welcome email for password creation.

When I create a ticket or when I create and account of a user I do get emails... So I know the email is working.

You are running a version of PHP that osTicket does not support yet, and a web browser that osTicket does not support (nginx).

I am by no means a Linux Power User, but I have been dabbling with it over the years. Am I understanding you correctly in that I need to downgrade PHP to an older version, then uninstall nginx and install apache2? This is a virtual server for this purpose only, would it be easier to reinstall Ubuntu and get the right packages during the install process?

Yes.

Probably not. you should be able to use this command to remove nginx:
apt-get remove nginx nginx-common

Then use this to install apache
apt-get install apache

Then you would do the same for php7.2 and 5.6.
