OSticket migrate to new server

Hi all

Made a backup of the OsTicket system to a new server (version v1.10.1), from the mysql database make an "export" using the following script:

. \ mysqldump.exe -u root -p --default-character-set = utf8 --result-file = database1.backup.sql database1

And I restored it to my new server using this statement

mysql --user = root -p --default_character_set utf8 <database1.backup.sql

The restoration concludes without problem. ?

When of entering the site, I show the image (This ok) and see in the database all data imported, all good. ?

But, at the moment of entering the portal and captured my username and password, does not allow me and sends the message "Authentication is required".
Despite what the restoration of the backup is sucessefull , it does not allow me to access.
Is there anything else I need to do, after restoring the database backup? I do not know, something with the encryption key of the passwords for example

Did you copy over your ost-config.php file?

No, this file not copy, i kept the original file

--- Encrypt/Decrypt secret key - randomly generated during installation.
define('SECRET_SALT','p04XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX');

I have not modified anything and in the database, all the information is already loaded, but users do not enter from the home page

The secret salt is actually why i asked you if you coped over the ost-config,php. If you haven't copied it over you should do so.

Also what OS is the new server? If its CentOS it could be something like SELinux blocking the authentication some how. I presume that you made sure that you had the same php extensions enabled on both machines etc?

The file ost-config,php was copied in the new server and fail again. This file, is the same that old server

The OS in new server is Windows 10, and the last server is Windows server 2012. (This is, because in need update to new version of osticket and this machine is a Test server)

Other point, i sure that both server have the same php extensions enabled

Sounds like we found the culprit. Downgrade to php 5.6
