Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, however, I fought this for a long time, as I saw nothing clear about the issues in the forums. I saw many other forum posts with the same issue, with no real guidance as to what worked. When I attempted to run the Upgrader from 1.9.14 to 1.10.x – It would fail.
I had two installations that I was trying to get upgraded, to OSTICKET 1.10.x from 1.9.14.
The upgrade would fail with the following:
[SELECT A1.* FROM ost_translation
A1 WHERE (A1.lang
= 'en_US' AND A1.type
= 'phrase')] Table 'osticket.ost_translation' doesn't exist
Tried numerous things including:
Upgraded to the latest version of PHP 5.x
Followed some of the other forum posts with the same issue, about creating the database and importing data, etc.... doing it this way, would be long and tedious as numerous field names changed, and was not really a good way to do it.
I could not get the upgrade.php to work at all with multiple php 5.x versions, I upgraded to PHP 7.0.32, I ran the upgrade scripts. I had no issues, and the upgrade completed with 2 different installs.
** I had no language packs installed
