Export customization (modules, email template ecc)

Hi all

I'd like to know if is there a (easy) way to export custom modules and email templates to import them in another instance.

We're using OST in production but we have an identical server for test.. I'd like to export my customizartions and import in production.. recreating all of them from scratch is quite boring and a time loss

Modules? osticket doesn't have Modules. So I'm not sure what you mean.

As far as email templates though you should be able to use sql to export the tables, a then import them to the new instance.

ost_email_template
ost_email_template_group

That might cause some issues if you use heavy attachments in your templates some how though.

For everything you can just clone the instance and delete all the tickets.

Hi, thank you for your fast reply.

About "modules", I'm sorry, I mean custom form (I'm using italian localization so I litterally translated the word, my bad)

Unfortunately I can't clone the instance, 'cause the production one has many tickets and the test one is.. well, a test one :-)

Those would be the ost_form* tables. I dont think that you need the _entry_values table though.
