We took the quick search div out of the page and put it in the 'sticky bar'.  Very useful.To do it, grab the form in: include/staff/tickets.inc.php  and put it in the 'sticky bar' div.  Also useful:put the form in a new div with this style: <div style="float; margin-left: 8px;">
