Your PHP is logging errors in /var/log/php-errors.log; if you know where your php.ini file is, find these line in it and change it to this:error_reporting = E_ALLdisplay_errors = onIf you don't know where your php.ini file is, first find out what PHP version you're using:php -vYou should get something like this:PHP 5.6.35-1+ubuntu16.04.1+deb.sury.org+1 (cli)Copyright (c) 1997-2016 The PHP GroupZend Engine v2.6.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2016 Zend Technologies with Zend OPcache v7.0.6-dev, Copyright (c) 1999-2016, by Zend Technologies with Xdebug v2.5.5, Copyright (c) 2002-2017, by Derick RethansMine is using PHP 5.6, so I'll want to use the 'php.ini' file that is for php 5.6You can find it by running this command:find / -name "php.ini"It should find it inside a folder called "php5.6" or whatever version of php you're using; for example:/etc/php/5.6/apache2/php.ini/etc/php/5.6/cli/php.ini/etc/php/7.2/cli/php.ini/etc/php/7.2/embed/php.iniYou'll want to use the one thats inside your "httpd" or "apache2" folder like you see up there.Find the right file, and add the changes I put at the top. Then restart your webserver:service apache2 restartorservice httpd restartNow your PHP should be logging all errors, warnings and notices to the file in /var/log/But by the sound of it, its your MySQL that is causing issues, probably because the osTicket database can't be accessed due to authentication issues.Try the following commands to reset the root password for your MySQL:service mysql stop } Debian commandservice mysqld stop } Redhat command; try both if you're not sure..mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables &mysql -u root(the following are MySQL commands)use mysql;update user set password=PASSWORD("mynewpassword") where User='root';flush privileges;quit(now lets try logging in to see if the password reset)service mysql startservice mysqld startmysql -u root -p(now you'll be prompted for your password, try your new password).I see you were using aIf this is a brand new install and you are having problems with freeBSD and don't mind switching to Debian, I wrote an entire installation script that sets up osTicket and a MySQL database with PHPMyAdmin as well that you can run to get osTicket up and running fairly quickly. If you're interested let me know. Otherwise, try the commands above and see if that helps.
