Version 1.7 with responsive design but 1 single issue - need help

Hi All,

I ave downloaded the new version of Osticket 1.7.

I have also done the integration with some responsive design so this support system works in all tablets and mobile as well.

I am happy to inform you that I am successful in implementing the responsive design.

I am facing a issue. I want to upload the attachments to a directory rather than the database. How can I do that ??

Also the multiple attachment doent work in IE.

Can you please help me ??

Which version of 1.7 are you running? (RC1, RC2, RC3, RC4, RC5, or RC6) You do know that this is a developers Release Candidate version and not suitable for production environments right?

Which version of Internet Explorer are you using? (9 or 10?) I believe that someone else already reported this so if you search the forums you may find what their solution was.

You can't with out modifying those sections of the code back to the 1.6ST version. You would of course have to do this manually yourself.

Thank for the reply. I am using the Rc5 version of Os 1.75.

I want to make the changes and get the attachments work in folder. Can you please help me ?

Also, I am using IE 9.

I would highly recommend waiting until 1.7ST is released before modifying your installation in this fashion. Otherwise if you ever want to upgrade you will have to redo your work. Either way this is something that you would have to do yourself. You can use the 1.6ST file attachment up and upgrades as a template to revert the code manually.

I will move your thread to the modifications section of the forums in case someone else wants this sort of change.

The new 2Meg max file size is not that kewl.

I would be interested in a mod putting it back to a folder so I can accept larger attachments.

Right now I don't have the time to do it and it may be over my head anyway.

You don't need a mod to increase the upload size. If you go to scp->Admin Panel->Settings->Tickets there is the option Maximum File Size. It has a textbox that limits the file size in osticket and in brackets (System Max. 32M) (in my case its 32M), which shows your php limit. You can change the System Max in your php.ini with the option post_max_size.

my bad.. I made the bad assumption the 2M was a database limit.
