Hi all,I understand people have been having similar problems with this on OSTicket version 1.10 RC3, but i am having issue with this on productive 1.10.When a task is created department members and leaders are not getting emails for a new task, activity or overdue even though it is selected in the task settings. emails are working fine with tickets with the same settings therefore the issue is with tasks. Has this bug or issue been fixed by the developers? Thank you.

Have you checked your task notification settings?

Yes task notification settings are right and enabled, as shown in the attached images.

I dunno, might be a bug, we don't really use tasks, they don't seem to link back to the ticket.

Did you install under PHP 5.6 and then upgrade PHP?  Or Did you install under 7?

We tried using tasks but discovered the same issue. There were never any alerts sent out for them. We chalked it up to them being a new feature that wasn't quite ready, particularly since there were alot of CSS issues with them as well. I was hoping to take a look at them again when the next update came out.

@[deleted] i installed PHP version 7.@[deleted] yes i came to the same conclusion that they were a new feature and buggy, but the same issue was identified and bought up with the beta version and in github. With this being a production version i assumed it was fixed, or a fixed released shortly after however i could not find such information.

You might want to see if it was addressed on github then.

@[deleted] I have checked on github but there are no updates on threads for the beta versions and no threads for the development version. so i am feeling a bit lost for a solution, a fix or if this is being looked at.

If there are issue reports (and there are) and there is no solution there then there is currently no solution.

    So far have this issue in that system how come till now didn't solved? Osticket one of the great system for monitoring tickets. should be you are effort for solving that issue because "task" one of important thing in Osticket .
