Email generated ticket for failure to deliver email to reciepient

Hi,

I am running an OSTicket application ,i get email tickets getting created when user's email is an invalid email following are the contents of the ticket description

"This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification

THIS IS A WARNING MESSAGE ONLY.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND YOUR MESSAGE.

Delivery to the following recipient has been delayed:

test@test.com

Message will be retried for 2 more day(s)

Technical details of temporary failure:

The recipient server did not accept our requests to connect. Learn more at http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?answer=7720(http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?answer=7720)

[(0) test.com. ........ "

PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT TRIGGERS TO GENERATE THIS TYPE OF TICKET IN THE OSTICKET CODE

Its a bounce back from an email server, literally saying "this message cannot be delivered, will keep trying for X days". osTicket opens tickets for any email received... So I'm not sure what your asking.

OSTicket will import any email it get's piped - it doesn't check for email validity.

Basically i want to stop this kind of email tickets getting created due to bounce back from email server due to invalid emails.

Is there any setting in admin side to stop this??

Is there any section in OSTicket source code which triggers creation of this kind of tickets? eg. pipe.php or class.mailfetch.php

There is no way to do this - they are using a you pipe we accept policy ;)

The thing is that i am using osticket application for many days around 8 months but started getting this type of tickets recently.

So was wondering whether some setting triggered this email tickets from getting created
