http://osticketthemes.com/Please consider integrating this theme for the client part into the main repository (master branch) as it's developer has to do it all over again every time you make major changes to the code.osTicket really requires a responsive and nice working frontend so badly and the time and efforts of the developers should be used more efficiently by combining your work.++I just saw that the developer made even the client part commercial now, is this even allowed if it was open source before? If it does any good, I still have the code for 1.10 for the client part including some files about it license.++Anybody has an idea about licensing?

Absolutely not.osTicket has a theme feature that is forth coming.  The author of that "Theme" decided to edit the core source files to force osTicket to be "themed" but to be clear it is not just a theme.  It is a core file revision.  Also it does not appear to be free.  We can't just take someone else's code... that's call stealing.  Whether or not they can re-purpose large parts of the code and sell it like that.. well that would be an issue for the lawyers to decide.  I am not a lawyer.

I actually talked with the dev, but this forum software does not allow to edit posts. The client part was definitely open source, he made it commercial because so many people wanted custom changes for the "open source" part and didn't understand that they cannot just "request" changes to their need.If code was/is open source, it's not stealing. I woudn't suggest stealing code, nothing code comes from it.
