Migrate to 1.10 and tickets are not longer created by email

I have just upgraded to 1.10. It looks very good.Main problem is that the IMAP/POP has just stopped working. The mails are received on the hosting account and are placed in the correct folders and I can see them as text files, but osticket does not get them.I have checked the configurations. Tried IMAP, IMAP+SSL, tried setting wrong ports to make sure the configuration does not save. I have set the correct port and hosting and I get the email settings saved. I have tried changing the password of the email. I have looked at the logs and except for PHP Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /pathonserver/public_html/ostic/include/class.plugin.php on line 555 there is nothing there.I have tried asking at https://webchat.freenode.net/ and still nothing.How could I debug this? It has stopped working after the upgrade?

I am having the same problem. osTicket can send, but cannot receive, even though it appears to validate my email settings.I'm using Office365.
