Hello. I was looking to start using osTicket and saw that the final 1.10 version was finally here. I already tested earlier versions but the multiple language is a must for us (so we can have in Portuguese). I tried with RC3 and tried again with the .phar file and it works. Some parts, expecially on client side are not trasnlated well (for the FAQs, where even in portuguese the articles are in english, featured articles are in english, search fields also). I sugested some translations on crowdin, downloaded the files and uploaded them to pt_PT. I can select the language on the Admin panel but it doesn't change anything. So is it possible to use our "custom" language pack instead of .phar, as a folder? Thank you!

Q: So is it possible to use our "custom" language pack instead of .phar, as a folder?A: Yes.

Thank you! I tried to put the folder in the correct one, I can select the language on the Admin panel, but, as user, when I click on the flag, nothing changes. Making something wrong?

I presume you uninstalled the language pack (in osTicket).added the folder.installed the language pack (in osTicket)?

Yes. I'll describe:When I use the phar file I put it in /include/i18n/ folder, named pt_PT.phar. It works OK.So I uninstalled from Admin panel and then deleted the file from the server. To use the folder I downloaded all languages from crowdin, copied to my Linux server, copied the folder pt-PT to pt_PT under /include/i18n/pt_PT folder.I go to Admin panel and select Portuguese. The flag appears but, on the client side, while testing on another browser, I select pt_PT, the address changes to pt_PT but all text is in english. This only happens when using the folder instead of .phar file.

I'm 99% sure that you cannot use the file downloaded from the project. You would have to extract the lang phar from the download section of osticket.com and edit the files in that.

Oh OK. So I'll try to understand how to do it. I'll try to extract the .phar file and check if it works that way. In the meanwhile I'll try to contribute on the official translation project. Where is the currect place to post some bug or something like that regarding the translation option? Some parts of the client side (the most important to me with multiple languages) does not assume some of the text in Portuguese. If I know where to informe it, maybe someone could check it

I think that you do that at the translation site... I'm not sure as I haven't been involved in the translation effort. If there isn't a way to do it there then you can report it on github.
