I'm having a real problem with osTicket where sometimes when I reply to a ticket many multiple ticket replies are sent to that user. Around 2000 email replies have been known to be sent to people, each one a repeat email of the reply. It's just Reply emails' that seem to cause this. We use an Office 365 mail server. Is there any known issue which osTicket are aware of which could cause this issue?

I have never heard of anyone having this issue.

I'm getting this error:Mailer ErrorUnable to email via SMTP.office365.com Failed to set sender: It.support@.....

Log Date: Tue, Sep 27 2016 2 IP Address: 62.255...

during this time the receiver of the email is repetitively sent the reply emails

I'm also facing a similar issue. Whenever agent sends the last reply and closes the ticket, an email is triggered to the creator. Now the issue is the last reply automatically posted multiple time. There's no pattern in terms of duration of posting replies as varies between 2-5 minutes to 10-15 minutes. This also happens with only one agent from the entire team. I tried clearing cache etc. but no luck. Once or twice this issue occurs for any random ticket.

I'm also attaching the screenshot.

You can see in the screenshot that the reply by agent was at 12:31 and then ticket got closed. All the responses that you see after are created automatically. Not sure how.

Can someone help here?

The only time I have ever seen this is if the Agent hit the Post reply button multiple times.

ntozier i agree. But that’s not a case here. If you see the time difference between each post is about 35-40 mins.
