Require registration and login to create tickets

Hi i need to display the login.php page while i select open a new ticket, i done the changes in the admin panel, but i don't while php file is belongs to the database connection for the login.php page, kindly help me to find out guys,

Version of osTicket?Is there some reason why you wouldn't go to Admin panel -> Settings -> Access and tick "Registration Required:"?

i done those steps in Admin panel, now i need to check if the username and password is either match with my database or not, so i need to know which php file is extract the database connection with the login.php form entry. kindly help me guys,

osTicket already does this?Or are you saying that oyu want to authenticate against a DIFFERENT database?You would be best suited by altering one of the authentication plugins if you have another authentication source.

i want to authenticate a user from my company database by sending the username and password to the service url, it will be authenticate by using the status of the passed username and password,, so i need to rewrite the code, my problem is i don't know which php file has the authentication code, i searched the entire code but i didn't find the correct php file, so kindly help me to find out,

You would be best suited altering one of the authentication plugins.Like "Authentication :: LDAP and Active Directory"http://osticket.com/downloadIf you edit the main code you will have to re-figure out how to make the changes again, and again every time you upgrade. You could also submit your plugin as a "alternative" DB authentication plugin to the project.
