I was wondering if someone could help me. I am looking to have a specific view for the admin/staff view, where the admin/staff user could select to only show tickets from a specific department, not just sort them.
Example:
A drop down that lists:
- Show All Tickets (which is currently the default)
- Show tickets by DEPARTMENT NAME
So the drop down would show all the departments. Once you select that department, you would only see the tickets from that department. We need to have a solution, so that when the Admin/Staff are searching through all the tickets, they have a faster way of separating the departments/tickets. Also, it would allow the system to be able to manage multiple environments, without having to install osTicket multiple times, thereby having to manage 2 or more systems. By having the ability to separate the tickets, would help dramatically, because then lets say you could separate tickets submitted for the IT department from the Web department.
