Adding form field to existing form?

Hey all,I don't know if this is an easy one or not, but hopefully it is. Could I add an edit field to the email account form? I have the internals of a custom IMAP folder already working just fine, but I have to manually add the mailbox name to the database each time I add an account. I'd rather have a text field where I can type that in if I can. Since OST puts forms in tables and seems to have other easy ways of making and handling forms, is adding a field a pretty easy thing to do, or is it difficult and not worth it? Thanks.

Sorry but I haven't the foggiest idea of what your trying to ask.What does a "custom IMAP folder" have to do with a "text field" on a ticket?

Sorry. One of those things that makes perfect sense in my head but that I therefore explained terribly.Using OST 1.9.14, I've made it so email accounts can check any IMAP folder/path I tell them to, but I have to tell them which one by adding a value to a column in ost_email. I wanted to add a form field so that, as I'm adding a new account or editing an existing one, I could enter/edit the name of the folder right in the form. Nothing to do with tickets, but rather the admin form used to administer email accounts.

I'm not aware of a feature in osTicket that would allow you to check individual sub folders in IMAP, so this is a custom change that you made to the core source files?

Yes, exactly. It works, I just want to add a text field to the email form where I can type the folder name.

There is no email form?Built in forms are: Company Information, Organization Information, Ticket Details, and Contact Details.

The form you see if you add a new email account. It has name, username, password, ports, pop/imap/smtp settings, polling interval, all that stuff.

Thats not a custom form its the configuration page. You would have to add a configuration option and then edit the template to display/update/save it. While not the same place.... Yes, exactly. I'm not sure which template, what to add, where to put it, etc. I'll have a look and see if the link offers any insights. I'm a bit surprised no one else has ever wanted to modify any of the built-in forms before.
