Apache Version2.2.29PHP Version5.4.41MySQL Version5.5.44-37.3-logOperating system is LinuxOsTicket Version : 1.9.14Fatal error: Call to undefined function _S() in /include/class.signal.php on line 63I checked many related links but didn't find any solution. just found that many are facing the same problem.
Can you upgrade to PHP 5.6 and see if that helps?
sorry, I am not using a vps. I am using a shared server so I don't have the control over the root folder. Can you suggest that as per my current hostings PHP, which OsTicket version will work properly?
All of the shared hosts that I have worked with run multiple versions of PHP at the same time. I would recommend that you talk to your host and see if that is the case. 5.4 is pretty old. I'm also pretty sure that 5.5 is the requirement now (although it hasn't been updated on the main site). You could probably run osTicket 1.9.6 as I seem to recall this error first popping up in 1.9.7.
Oh thanks for the hint that all the shared hosting's run multiple versions of PHP. In the Cpanel under software and services I found an Option of "Select PHP Version". I changed the version to 5.6 as suggested by you and the issue is resolved. Thanks for the support. Please close the discussion.
