Backup scripts

I have created two simple backup scripts for OSticket and would like to contribute them to the project. How do I request write access to to the github repo? & In what directory should these scripts be placed include, setup, scripts, or root of the repo? thanks for the feedback. Yes these are for Linux/FreeBSD server obviously I understand that some users run OSticket on windows (not sure why) but these are the scripts we use in-house for our production server. I'd figure it would just be a nice token of appreciation to contribute, since the community edition does not include any backup solution.
