Hi, I understand there have been many threads on this topic, but many of them did not come to a conclusion that resulted in it working from my digging around.Server InformationosTicket Versionv1.9.12 (19292ad) — Up to dateWeb Server SoftwareApache/2.4.10 (Debian)MySQL Version5.5.49PHP Version5.6.20-0+deb8u1I created a new gmail account specifically to test with OSTicket, enabled both IMAP and POP3.Fetching pop.gmail.comport 995POP+ SSLSending ssl://smtp.gmail.com 465Auth yesthis is as per the wiki, i also tried different combinations of the TLS port with and without the ssl:// prefixWith the above settings i get an "unable to login" with a more detailed error of "Failed to connect to ssl://smtp.gmail.com "so, out of despair if you save the settings with it set to "disabled" (yes i know its not a good idea) the go to the DB and set the enabled flag. i am able to receive emails from the system as per the attached screenshot The admin notifications are fine, and the mail scanning is ok, there are still logs being recorded in the "system Logs" with Unable to email via SMTP://smtp.gmail.com Failed to set sender: XXXXXX@gmail.com my thinking is, why is it able to send the admin emails but not the ticket notifications
