Custom Form for Tickets

I do not want the Issue Details field on the ticket. I am not able to disable it since its locked. I need hep to disable it if possible. I had thought of creating a custom form with the details i need and then make it to be the default ticket details. How do i do that?

You have not told us which version of osTicket you are running however you cannot disable it via the ui. It is equal to email subject.If

you really want to disable it you would have to edit the source. Although I

imagine that you would find it easier to populate it with with a static

Please help me with the easier option, to populate it with the static value. How do i do that?

That is an old version. Unfortunately even in the latest stable 1.9.12 you can't disable that HOWEVER once the newest stable 1.10 comes out there will be a section in where you can add custom forms and rearrange them and there you can disable the default ticket form (with Issue Details). So all you need to do is wait for the new stable version and then you'll be all good :)
