Strange issue here but I'm sure there is a quick fix to this. I transferred hosting servers late November/early December of this past year and I backed up the MySQL installation and copied the OST files to a local drive. Uploaded the files to the new server and imported the MySQL database and I was good to go. Fast forward to about a week or two ago, I started getting errors in the dashboard regarding database issues and the information showed the hostname of my previous hosting account. I made a rookie mistake and forgot to update the MySQL settings but also thought nothing of it since OST was working fine up until now...or so I thought. This is where things got weird. I checked the entries for both databases and it looked as though OST was using the MySQL info from the new server up until December 9th and from there it started storing the databases entries to the old MySQL database. This is strange that it would use the new database even though I never put in the new settings. When I checked the ost-config.php entries, it was set to use the old database. In this database I can see entries up until yesterday. When I entered the settings to my new database, OST immediately started showing different entries up until December 9th.Pretty much I am just looking for a way to merge the old database into the new one so that OST will recognize all entries. The table prefix is the same on both databases so hopefully that will make things a little easier. I know that I could Google "merging MySQL databases" but I wanted to check here first to make sure there isn't anything special to look out for when it comes to OST.Thanks in advance.
