Hello guys, I have installed osTicket 1.9.12 on a server inside our company network. Tickets are sent from an Exchange 2007. osTicket is installed on a xampp apache environment. I have installed a german language pack and since I thought it might fix my problem also the file attachment plugin. Everything works except I can not open any attached files in the tickets. It shows the files with the correct size, but they are all broken. I compared the broken files with local files that are still unaltered and it seems like osTicket adds a Byte Order Mark (BOM) to the files (EF BB BF - which stands for UTF-8 - I think) When I manually remove this "prefix" with a Hex-Editor, the files can be opened. It is the same problem with and without the file attachment system. What is strange is, the files stored in the folder (named like QYXdS3wWLWrUJ6tKzCpCXa_-_6P7oXxE) are still fine. At what point are the files altered? I don't know enough about the flow of the data to fit it. Any help is greatly appreciated.ThanksCheers, Patrick
