HiNew to Osticket, I have been building our setup for a couple of months.Having trouble using Topic ID in ticket filters.I have been entering the Help Topic name in the filter but this doesn't work.am I missing something ?I can get the filters to work using other fields in Match Any & Match All mode.any advice much appreciatedRegardsSteve in Tasmania, Australia

Version of osTicket?I think that with topic id you have to use the topic id # (each help topic has a unique topic id #)

thanks for the reply.I think you may be correct, I have seen the Topic ID number mentioned in other posts - now how do I find it :-)Unsure of our version, how do I find this as well ?kind regardsSteve

You can look in the database table, or easier for you you can go to the Admin panel -> Manage -> Help Topics.  Mouse over the Help Topic and see where it goes. The url will be something like /scp/helptopics.php?id=X where X is the numebr you want.Version is displayed at Admin panel -> Dashboard -> System Info (for recent versions).

Hi ntozierthanks for your help, I was able to find the Topic ID with the mouse over. The ticket filter now works fine when that rule is included using Match All.RegardsSteve
